Salary: $50,000 annually + Commission

The Sales Development Role (SDR) is the company’s key evangelist, communicating Capture’s offering to senior educational leaders. The position requires excellent communication skills, a thirst for proactive learning, and the drive to exceed one’s goals every day. Those who consistently exceed the performance objectives in this role are eligible for promotion to an inside sales representative position within 12 months.

Essential Functions:

  • Research, identify, and qualify target accounts through effective outreach methodologies and effective communication of our value proposition to key decision makers
  • Exceed daily and monthly outreach quotas
  • Prospect and lead development via cold-calling, emailing, and conference networking
  • Provide critical feedback to all areas of the sales and marketing organization to quickly iterate on first-contact selling needs and priorities
  • Provide research within targeted accounts to qualify prospective buyers and identify key contacts and critical information prior to virtual product demonstration
  • Create appropriate lists of prospects and contacts for email/phone campaigns, conference attendance, etc.
  • Work with and directly support designated Regional Sales Manager within specific territory by development original and purposeful content and strategically co-developing territory plan.
  • Demonstrate fluency in the platform’s components

Experience:

  • 0 – 2 years of B2B Sales experience in an SDR or Inside Sales role
  • Selling into Higher Education or software is great, but not necessary
  • Experience with GoToMeeting, AdobeConnect, JoinMe or other online demonstration platforms
  • Experience with Salesforce, Nutshell or other online CRM’s
