Qualifications – Required Skills & Experience: 5+ years in finance, accounting, or strategy (preferably startups or high-growth); experience supporting startup fundraising (models, investor materials, pitch prep); advanced proficiency in financial analysis, modeling, and reporting (Excel/Google Sheets); ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly; highly organized, able to manage multiple client relationships; familiarity with tools like QuickBooks, Carta, or similar. Preferred: Experience with Board-level reporting/strategic planning; exposure to venture-backed startups or founder-led orgs; background in FP&A or financial strategy focusing on scenario planning and forecasting. Job Description – About the Role: Collaborate with experienced CFOs and work directly with startup clients to deliver top-tier financial leadership and strategy while growing your career in startup finance. Your Purpose: Key contributor to client engagements—support CFOs in executing strategies, managing projects, and ensuring client success. Your Responsibilities: Client Engagement – deliver financial hygiene, forecasting, reporting, and scenario planning; build strong client relationships as a trusted advisor. Financial Leadership Support – assist with fundraising (financial models, investor decks, data room materials); execute reporting, budget updates, and cash flow analysis. Project Management – manage client projects and coordinate with CFOs/analysts for timely, high-quality delivery; contribute to model refinement, cash management optimization, and reporting enhancements. System Development – enhance internal processes and build scalable systems to support company and client growth.
