Location: Louisville, KY


Job Description:
As an Insurance Agent, you will be responsible for both managing insurance sales and providing administrative support to the agency. This is a unique role where you will be expected to not only assist clients in selecting the appropriate insurance policies but also take on critical administrative responsibilities to ensure the smooth functioning of the agency.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Insurance Sales & Client Support:
    • Assist clients in determining their insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage (Property, Casualty, Life, and Health).
    • Provide clients with quotes, process applications, and secure new business.
    • Maintain ongoing relationships with clients, addressing their inquiries and making sure their coverage needs are met.
    • Review policy renewals and ensure clients' insurance policies are up-to-date.
  • Administrative Support:
    • Process and manage client paperwork, applications, and renewals.
    • Maintain accurate records in the agency’s database, ensuring all documents are filed and updated correctly.
    • Coordinate with underwriters, insurance providers, and clients to resolve any issues or discrepancies.
    • Help with scheduling appointments, maintaining client files, and other administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.

Requirements

Licensing:
- Active and valid insurance license in Property, Casualty, Life, and Health insurance.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an insurance agent or in a similar insurance-related administrative role.
Skills:

Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
- Proficient with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge:

In-depth knowledge of insurance policies and coverage options
