| The Marketing Director plays a critical role in driving MXD Process’ growth across regulated and industrial markets by developing, executing, and optimizing integrated marketing programs that generate qualified leads and measurable sales pipeline. This individual owns the marketing strategy, execution, and analytics for all channels—digital, events, and content—while coordinating with internal stakeholders and external agencies. Role is an individual contributor role managing a number of agencies, but marketing team may grow over time. Working closely with Sales, Application Engineering, and executive leadership, the Marketing Director is responsible for: - Building a consistent flow of qualified inbound leads that convert to revenue.
- Managing external agencies across digital, creative, and PR functions.
- Aligning marketing campaigns with the sales process to accelerate deal velocity.
- Creating data-driven insights that continuously improve ROI on marketing spend.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The Marketing Manager’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: - Demand Generation: Plan, launch, and measure integrated campaigns (email, paid search, paid social, industry directories, and events) targeting engineers, plant managers, and purchasing teams to maintain a cost-per-lead aligned with company targets.
- Digital Marketing and eCommerce: Manage MXDProcess.com and Shopyify.com performance (SEO, UX, analytics, conversions) and to drive organic traffic, leads, and online orders.
- Event Management: Plan and execute trade show participation and industry events, including logistics, staffing, lead capture, and post-show follow-up workflows.
- Content Development: Create and coordinate production of blogs, case studies, white papers, videos, product manuals, and webinars that educate technical buyers and differentiate MXD Process solutions.
- Brand Management: Ensure brand consistency across all customer touchpoints and oversee creative quality from internal and external contributors.
- Sales Enablement: Provide sales with high-impact tools—presentations, one-pagers, and automated nurture sequences—to improve lead quality and closing rates.
- Marketing Operations: Maintain CRM and marketing automation processes (HubSpot and Odoo), ensuring accurate lead routing, tracking, and campaign attribution.
- Analytics & Reporting: Monitor KPIs such as MQL-to-SQL conversion, cost per lead, and ROI by channel. Deliver monthly dashboards for Sales and Leadership review. Conduct deep dives into marketing performance and optimize spend throughout the year.
- Agency Management: Serve as primary liaison for digital, PR, and creative agencies. Set KPIs, review campaign performance, and negotiate renewals.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES - Proven experience managing multi-channel marketing programs with measurable ROI.
- Strong analytical mindset; proficient in interpreting marketing metrics and financial data.
- Deep understanding of B2B buyer journeys in industrial, manufacturing, or technical sectors.
- Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills.
- Proficient in HubSpot, Google Ads, Google Analytics 4, AI LLMs (such as ChatGPT or Claude), and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple agencies and projects simultaneously.
- Creative problem solver with strong attention to detail and project ownership.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering, and Leadership teams.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE - Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- 5–8 years of B2B marketing experience in industrial or technical industries.
- Direct experience managing six- to seven-figure marketing budgets.
- Strong track record in digital marketing, content strategy, and campaign management.
- Familiarity with industrial capital equipment or process systems a strong plus.
LOCATION Remote or working at one of our locations Jeffersonville, IN (Louisville metro area), Plain City, OH (Columbus metro area), or Somerset, NJ. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS In general, this is an office-based job with a considerable amount of time spent at a computer, and will require the ability to operate a computer, keyboard, mouse, or laptop. The ability to travel to other MXD Process locations, trade shows, and customer sites is a requirement.
