Location: Remote – USA (Hybrid, Dublin OH). Job Type: Full-time. Primary Responsibilities: Nymbl is seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to join our growing engineering team. You’ll develop and maintain our healthcare SaaS platform across the stack. Development & Engineering: Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using Angular, Java and Node; Build responsive, user-friendly interfaces; Develop RESTful APIs and microservices using Java (Spring preferred) and Node in AWS Lambda; Design and optimize MySQL schemas and queries; Design and implement serverless microservices using AWS PaaS; Implement secure data handling practices (HIPAA, HITECH). Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps: Deploy and manage applications on AWS with Terraform/Terragrunt; Build/maintain CI/CD pipelines; Monitor application performance and optimize; Participate in architecture and scalability planning. Quality & Collaboration: Write unit tests and participate in code reviews; Collaborate with product, design, and engineering in an agile environment; Troubleshoot production issues; Contribute to documentation; Mentor junior developers. Qualifications — Required: 4+ years of full-stack web development experience; Excellent attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills; Strong communication skills and suitable WFH environment; Ability to work independently and prioritize in a fast-paced environment; Experience with agile methodologies. Technical skills: Frontend (3+ years) with Angular (preferably 17+), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, responsive design; Backend (4+ years) with Java (Spring Boot/Framework); Microservices with AWS (Lambda, SQS, EventBridge, API Gateway, Cognito, DynamoDB, S3); Database: MySQL (query optimization, design) and DynamoDB; Cloud (2+ years) with AWS services (Lambda, RDS, S3, CloudFormation, etc.); Git and collaborative workflows; RESTful API development; Event-driven systems. Healthcare knowledge: Understanding of HL7/FHIR preferred; Knowledge of compliance (HIPAA, SOX); Experience with healthcare workflows/clinical data is a plus. Preferred: Expertise in O&P/CRT/DME; AWS certifications; Additional AWS services (API Gateway, CloudWatch, ECS/EKS); Docker/Kubernetes; Automated testing (JUnit, Jasmine, Cypress); Monitoring/logging (CloudWatch, ELK); Prior regulated industry experience; Other frontend frameworks (React, Vue.js); Message queuing (SQS, RabbitMQ); Manufacturing domain experience; Experience with Nymbl Systems.
